
Hasan Brown, has a Bachelors of Science Degree from Colgate
University (’94) and a Masters Degree, in Hospitality Management from
Florida International University (’97). In the Hospitality industry his
experience is diversified, encompassing operations, strategic planning
training and supervision. He has demonstrated leadership,
organizational, analytical & interpersonal skills to a wide range of
projects. He has also recruited, trained, groomed and supervised
several supervisory, assistant managers and key staff.
Since leaving the hospitality business, for the past 15 years Hasan has
various developed a strong background planning and implementing
marketing campaigns and working closely with media outlets to enhance
clientele image; also providing business management, consultation and
talent booking for various performers. Further he provided direction to
all facets of public relations, with a focus in Media Placements, Event
Planning, and Product Development.
The company’s range of services includes promotion and publicity,
marketing and consultation. The Puzzle Marketing & Media team is
lead by its founder, Publicist, Hasan Brown, who has over 15 years of
marketing experience and prides himself on his reputation of creating
momentum for his clients. Hasan’s professional and personal experience
cover the spectrum, with recognition ranging from earning a Gold Record
to having and Award*** named in his honor at his Alma Mater, Colgate
University.
Hasan has delivered marketing and public relations campaigns in various
industries. With a history of connecting mainstream products with the
urban communities in South Florida, Hasan has helped launch urban
initiatives for various Restaurants and Lounges, Newspapers, Hotels
& Resorts, Festivals/Concerts, On-air Radio Personalities, Record
Labels and more.
Hasan Brown is a music professional whose career was born on upstate New
York college radio, and solidified in street team promotions in the mid
90’s in South Florida. He has earned a gold record for his
participation in a monumental campaign with Virgin/Noo Trybe Records
artists Do or Die. Furthermore, he has conducted marketing blitzes in S.
Florida for Scarface, Geto Boys and the Original Gangsta Soundtrack.
He has also worked other powerhouse labels such as LaFace and Universal,
on projects such as Outkast, Toni Braxton, Lost Boyz, Goodie Mob, and
Donnell Jones.
In his Public Relations & Marketing endeavors he has worked with
companies such as Luster Hair Care, Rolling Out Newspaper, Refugee
Clothing, Source Magazine, Boost Mobile; Events such as Miami Carnival
(90k Attendees), South Florida SummerFest Ft. Akon, Lil Wayne, Keysha
Cole (8.5k Attendees), Miami Sting 2003 (12k Attendees), Power 96 Miami
