Exploring God’s Art in Nevada/ Red Rock Canyon

Today, I decided to push myself to get out and explore God’s Art in Nevada.

I woke up and committed to exploring Red Rocks Canyon, only 20 miles away from my home. I grabbed coffee and a breakfast sandwich and it the road. This was a perfect way to blow out my Hooptie, Poopsie on the road and stop by to get a Smog Test done on the way home.

The weather was perfect and I didn’t need to wear a jacket. What a wonderful morning.

There was quite a bit of traffic heading to Red Rock Canyon along with a bunch of cyclists and motorcyclist traveling in the same direction.

These beautiful Blue Birds were flying all over the landscape of The Red Rock Canyon.

The outlook area was packet. I had to circle around before I could find a parking place. stepping out you could see a mass of these Blue Birds along with cute little creatures running around.

Several motorcycles were lined up with men that I believe were around 70 years of age… I actually enjoyed seeing them hanging out with a variety of colors and styles of bikes.

Also, close to a dozen photographer with fancy cameras and devices taking pictures. And there was was me with my cellphone and camera taking my own pictures.

I sat for a short while as I ate my breakfast and sipped on my coffee, observing the people coming through and the interesting formations of Red Rock Canyon against the beautiful blue skies.

It was an absolutely beautiful morning. What an interesting view, with dull sandstone mute colors sprinkle of sporadic deep dark red splashes. Although, I am drawn to deep lush colors. This area clearly is a beautiful representation of Gods Art in Nevada.

I’m glad that I ventured out. I need to get out and explore nature in the Las Vegas and surrounding areas.

And Poopsie passed her Smog Test 😁

Vegas Chime in…The Mask Mandate Has Been Lifted Today 2/19/22

WHERE’S MY VEGAS PEOPLE AT…

Share your honest thoughts about the Mask Wearing Mandate being lifted in Vegas.

As I leave work, where we have Covid patients and are receiving more tonight…I come home to see this 😷

I have strong feelings around the spread of Covid and taking safety precautions. I’ll be honest, I feel a bit anxious around this news and will continue to wear a mask when I am around people.

The spread of this virus is still present. I believe with people taking safety precautions and getting vaccinated has helped prevent the spread Covid where it would be much worse.

Now I do believe how a person chooses to maneuver life with the umbrella of Covid lingering out there…it’s a personal choice. I do hope it is a realistic informative choice and not ignorant decision.

I will be watching from the sidelines to see how this will play out. Again, I work at a rehabilitation hospital and we are mandated to wear masks and goggles at work. But I’m my personal life, I will be wearing a mask when amongst people while out and about.

What’s your plans if you’re in Vegas and wearing a mask or not?

Will Vegas Entertainment have more opportunities and what will that look like?

It Was A Disappointing Experience

At times I go out to an event with a hope and expectation of a great experience. I rarely go out since Covid hit, so I want it to be worth my while.

I stepped out and found that I was greatly disappointed. I had really planned to write a great review. Before the event started, I asked if I could take pictures and video snippets, and I was told no. I was fine with that, because I understood the reason.

There are positive things I can point out, but the overall experience was disappointing.

What do you do when you go out and you’re disappointed in what you experienced? Do you talk about to others, do you let the person(s) know your thoughts, do you chalk it up and look forward to something else you cross paths with?

I like to write about my experiences or share pictures and videos that I’ve taken…but not in this case.

I’m just putting this out there without mentioning what is the reason for this post 🤭

Sharing my thoughts…
