Be ready for the possibilities in the new year. Update your Artist Package.
Well recorder performance videos are crucial when emailing out pitches to secure future gigs.
“Living on purpose” means doing what truly matters to you in alignment with your values and beliefs. I can’t tell you what that means for you, but you know it when you feel it — and when you don’t. When you aren’t being you, everything is foggy and colorless. You’re bored and busy at the same time, always tired.
How many of you know you have a calling on your life, but have gotten away from it. Many it was The Pandemic, or simply life, possibly it comes down to the environment we were inserted into.
I say it’s time to get focused again. It’s time to identify the what feels good, what we enjoy doing, what we excel at and what serves others.
I don’t believe in going BIG unless you are ready and can maintain that. I believe in starting simple and mastering that one thing and building on that to then possibly branch out. We all need a solid foundation to work from.
I believe that many times we can be all over the place with trying to find a source to be seen and remembered by. Instead of focusing on the Gift that God has given us to master and share.
I recognize that when we are all over the place and trying to focus on too many projects…we are only distracted and nor focused to the point of achieving.
Many jump from one place to another, or from project to project to project…while never succeeding at any of them. One what about the one hit wonder that gets disposed of after the initial presentation…allowing people to forget about the experience.
Start small, be committed and determined to build something that brings value to what others will remember and speak on…create something that is authentically you, that you will bring to life and excitement to. People feed off of positive, exciting energy.
LIVE IN YOUR PURPOSE! L
IVE YOUR PURPOSE!
God gave each of us a Gift with a purpose that satisfies his creation of YOU. It’s time to honor God, yourself, others and your legacy.

Although I am not Black, my children are and I came up in the Black Community of Seattle, WA from toddlers age.
Kwanzaa was introduced into my later in life as an adult. I am blessed to have come up around wonderful committed people that represent a proud culture in education and action.
I know in most peoples eyes I am a white woman, when in fact I am Japanese (father) and German (mother.) I was raise as biracial and as a person of color.
As you can see, I support the Black Community of Creative SoulZ. My life has steered me in this direction and I love it. I want you to know, I may speak out on issues in hopes to make people think, inspire and motivate, but at the same time I know when to stay in my lane and just observe and respect. Kwanzaa is that place of respect and simply acknowledging the culture and life principles of not only this time of year, but should be a lifestyle.
I support my children in learning and honoring the 7 Principles of Kwanzaa
I recognized that not all the Black People that I know recognize and celebrate the history and lifestyle of Kwanzaa.
Many people do not understand and care to understand these important values to grow and support their own people.
It’s a concept that should be adopted into everyone’s way of living life.
I am not Black, but I just wanted to knowledge my Respect and appreciation to those that honor the 7 Principles of Kwanzaa all year round.
The family tradition in my family was, celebrating Christmas on Christmas Eve with our special holiday meal, The Story of Jesus Birth read from the Bible, gift exchange and the Midnight Church Service. Special Times, Making Memories 🙏
Never Forget The Reason For The Season…The Birth of Jesus Christ 🙏
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, “Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you!” But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and tried to discern what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy–the Son of God. And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For nothing will be impossible with God.” And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger. And when they saw it, they made known the saying that had been told them concerning this child. And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them. But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them. And at the end of eight days, when he was circumcised, he was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria. And all went to be registered, each to his own town. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)
Next Year I Will Be Home to Celebrate The Holidays with My Family. Family time, honoring relationships as what’s taught in The Bible and finding my peace in a safe land.
After talking on the phone with my grandbaby today…it reminded me how our family traditions stopped when I moved away. I do not celebrate here in Vegas and have spent most of my birthdays and holidays alone. It has saddened me to the point of becoming numb and a recluse.
My grandbaby and I talked about holidays in the past and it promised when I come home we will bring back our family celebrations. She said she would like that.
As my children and I got older, holidays and birthdays was more about family time than gift giving. This took the pressures off of spending money on gifts and we put it into our special meals.
As this day will soon come to an end… step away from the commercialism of Christ and remember the real reason for The Season if the Birth of Jesus Christ, Out Lord and Savior.
May Gods Blessings be upon all of you and your loved ones.
Problem-solving enables us to identify and exploit opportunities in the environment and exert (some level of) control over the future.
Problem solving skills and the problem-solving process are a critical part of daily life both as individuals and organizations.
When things breakdown in communication or actions, the challenge is finding a solution to the problem(s).
Many times things snowball before you know it, verse paying attention and noticing the negative shift and finding a resolve early.
Listening to hear verses responding to discard one’s feelings.
Challenges are taking place all around us..,
From workplace disconnections
Performance and showcase challenges
Family miscommunication
To misinterpretation of what defines a relationship.
We need to take the time to listen and hear what each other are saying and feeling. Try to understand where some is coming from and their why, then take simple steps to find how to resolve the problem.
After facing challenges at my job from upper management for myself and staff… it led to me writing this and processing in the challenges and will the ever be a resolve. I hate to see my awesome staff feeling unhappy and the disheartening feeling in my soul as I try to do the best I can while there.
How do you determine there is a problem, and what is your approach to resolve it? Or do you just give up and walk away.
Oh, boy…my mind is racing as we come to the end of another year. So many topics I am having a conversation about with myself and God. I want to bring these topics to the table with you and then I forget. I get so caught up in my thoughts and I want to blog and vlog, and I just forget to.
So the question of the day is, “How authentic were you this year?”
Wow, that’s a good question and the answer for myself, being brutally honest, I wasn’t my authentic self. I was fighting to be and acting like I was…but I got so caught up in my relationships personally, professionally as Lady Flava and at my job…I lost myself in the madness. I was not, and I have to be honest, I have not been my authentic self in a very long time.
Ching Ching ✔️✔️
That has been a lot of my issues, I have not been living a life that was true to my vision and purpose. God has hung in there with me through my distractions…this I know. And then on October 1st…he told me to stop.
Wow, as I write this I get it. I have tried to honor others as I neglected myself…and in that, I became resentful of others when in all reality…my frustrations should have been with ME. Or maybe I was frustrated with myself for letting things get out of control.
This coming year, I will live more of an authentic life. I will stay on the path of developing my skills in writing, speaking and sharing what I know and understand about maneuvering the industry of Arts & Entertainment. I feel strongly that this is the area of focus for the coming year.
If a project is presented to me to get involved in, and it will be beneficial to my brand, I will do it. Otherwise, I am okay with focusing on this new direction for LadyFlavaNews.
I want to encourage you to explore and have an honest conversation with yourself. How authentic were to to your personality, your purpose and craft? What felt right and what didn’t?
It’s never to late to shift and refocus or take a detour on your path. Or maybe it’s time to redefine your WHY?
As I process my life, I hope I can inspire you to do the same.
This is my opinion….back in the day when I was coming up, relationships were valued more, it was safe to play outside, you didn’t know too many people who died of cancer or committed suicide….mental illness wasn’t something that was so normal. Parents were parents and not their child’s friend…we knew what right and wrong was, it was important to spell correctly and write with pen and paper…a definition of a word was clear and not up for interpretation. Friends with benefits existed but was not the norm or talked about so freely. Kid were not allowed in the same room as grown folk and we were allowed to be children and not worry about grown up problems. Most families in my community went to church. I knew who were my friends and left the rest alone. I started working at the age of 12 at a local flower shop and babysat and paid for much of my own special things like records, movies, an outfit or shoes. I had daily chores and weekend chores and they had to be done before I could go outside to hang out. I had to ask permission to watch a TV show or use the rotary phone which one eventually became a push button. Funny thing is, sometimes I thought my life was so hard back in the day…
Life is so complicated now days and there is so much destruction, people are always looking for the next best thing and fail to commit to anything or anybody and in the end it is so hard to help others to see their blessings and to recognize your own blessings.
Your target audience refers to the specific group of consumers most likely to want your product or service, and therefore, the group of people who should see your ad campaigns.
Target audience may be dictated by age, gender, income, location, interests or a myriad of other factors.
Understand who is interested in experiencing what you have to present. Then target your promotions with that group of people.
Get Creative…You can still create an interest from people who would be NEW to what you do…
Always, explore how to GROW your AUDIENCE.
If you draw the same people over and over, there is NO GROWTH to Level Up.

Who Needs What You Have To Offer … And Who Will Pay For It? #DoYouWantMore #KnowYourValue
I first wrote this in 2019 and it was directed at that time to creating a revenue building following. Knowing your Audience and if you are creating a product that others will find value in.
Today, I look at it in the same light but with a different twist… The experience of you is what will bring Value to Others. What is the experience going to be and why should people pay attention and want to take their valuable time and money to indulge in what you have to offer.
What do you have to offer that will bring value to people? Think about it and then implement the plan of action.
