Just have to share this pic from 2010…of me and my friend Susan. She is one of the most inspirational people I know – always promoting others, serving others, and supporting artists to be/sell/own their best. You can find her at Lady Flava on Facebook…she is an awesome source for independent artists both locally and nationally! Ann Klein

Today I was amidst some of the best spoken word and musical talent in the city – honoring someone known for honoring others… Susan Koshi (aka Lady Flava) as she moves on to her next chapter in Las Vegas.

I met Susan at her Flava Coffee House in 2007…a time in my life that was deeply challenging. My days/weeks were spent alongside my brother as he battled cancer – and each Friday night I escaped to “Flava Fridays” and witnessed raw and real talent – and escaped for a moment the raw and realness of my own world. I am forever indebted.
Susan Koshi is someone I admire. She believes in people, she promotes people, and she invests in people. Her belief in promoting independent artists is unwavering.

Cheers Susan to all you will do in Vegas and beyond – and cheers to all the amazing people I saw today and in the past…may the spirit of Flava Coffee House and all it was for all of us…continue to inspire each of us. Alvin, Monique, Elijah, Alliniece, Daniel…I loved seeing you!!! Also missed those who weren’t there but were in spirit Jim, Alonzo, Carl and more. Ann Klein

The consistent genuine love and support I saw tonight for someone living in their purpose and doing their dream, is a blessing. I can only imagine (in my Tamela Mann voice) Erica Reed

I was thankful to stop by and say hi-goodbye to Lady Flava and catch the tail end of the Celebration.

She says this is her calling…. Working with and promoting independent artists of all types. She’s done a lot here over the years…Lots of Love from lots of Folks here today.

May God Continue to Bless Her as she relocates to Vegas. Kevin Allen

You are a phenomenal woman, a beautiful person,
doing an extraordinary job for artists, making things happen for those you believe in and although you might not always feel it, you are loved and appreciated. Michelle
