The Book of Bean: Gunshots & Birdsong 🐾

12:35 a.m. — BANG! BANG! BANG!

Gunshots shattered the quiet of the kingdom. I swear, for a moment, it felt like those fools were right outside our Tower doors.

Why? Why must these humans disturb our peace? Do they not understand that this is a sacred realm, carefully guarded by me, Bean, and occasionally tolerated by my feline associate?

I listened, ears swiveling, trying to measure the distance — sometimes it felt close, sometimes far. But either way, it was too loud for my liking. Eventually, I decided that since the humans weren’t panicking, I could return to my royal slumber.

When morning finally came, I was awoken by something far more fitting for the kingdom — the sweet harmonies of Sally and Benny, our resident birds, singing from the tree outside. Their song drifted in through the window, a gentle reminder that peace always returns… even after the night’s chaos.

The lesson?

Fools may come and go, but the kingdom always wakes with the birds. 🐦
