About Lady Flava News


Lady Flava News was established in February of 2007, under the umbrella of Flava Coffee House, Seattle, WA (June 2003-2008). During the years of the coffee house Susan Koshi aka Lady Flava established herself as a true cheerleader of the unknown artists of all art forms. Hosting her first event under the name of On The 1 Productions with 3 other partners, was a jazz cruise on the Puget Sound. She was a well established and sought after book reviewer of minority literature, servicing mostly African American self published authors. March of 2008 she hosted a national literary conference that gain recognition and support of the Mayor’s Culture Affairs & Arts Office. During the days of Flava Coffee House she hosted a very diverse open mic every Friday called “Flava of Expression” to selling a variety of art and art forms at the coffee house. Flava Coffee House became the home away from home for many eclectic and creative souls.
In June 2008 Lady Flava made the business decision to close the doors of Flava Coffee House in North Seattle. Although the physical building no longer exists, the love and passion for was established within her walls and grew into what is now as Lady Flava News/LFN Radio.
Taking her love and passion of the arts she step out on the journey to find ways to support the unknown artists. Lady Flava hit the social networks hard and found herself starting her own show originally called the Mosaic Show with Flava & LA in November of 2009 to changing it to simply FCH206 Radio, featuring a variety of shows under it’s umbrella. All the shows feature only the music of underground/independent artists or talk shows on subjects pertaining to the artistic industry. Lady Flava has gained the respect and recognition of many of her peers and more established members of the entertainment/arts community across the globe
Lady Flava News is committed to exploring creative ways and connecting with variety of resources to continue to open the doors for positive exposure. Featuring the the great talents of many Independent Artists from across the United Stages to around the globe. Lady Flava establish Lady Flava News as an a service provider to Independent Artists through reviewing where an artist current status is and where they want to go. What are the missing elements or connects. She is respected as an Artist Coach Consultant and has helped to further the careers for several artists. Do to Lady Flava’s vast connections in the industry she is also able to provide referrals to a variety of service providers and industry professionals.
May of 2017 Lady Flava relocated to Las Vegas, NV with a determination and commitment to getting involved or helping to create and Indie Scene in the Entertainment Capitol of the World. Her goal and dream is to establish her own show in Vegas that features ONLY Indie Artists and has already put in work and and saving money towards making, Flava’s Lounge to become a reality in the near future.
With a strong passion to help artists and now entertainers to be aware of how their public package comes across. She is establishing herself as a show review and project review in Las Vegas and from Las Vegas but not limited to this area.
Lady Flava is a co-partner with Marc VanClagget CEO and Founder of Marlex Records, an independent record label that is also based out of Las Vegas, NV. They have on board a Grammy Award Winning Producer working with them, which is taking the quality of the sound to a whole new level.
The passion for the art and artists is always felt and will continue to develop into a strong force in the global arts community.
