What Motivates Me

When I think about what motivates me, it comes down to a few simple but powerful truths.

Love & Connection

I am most motivated by the people I love and the relationships I cherish. Whether it’s my family, my grandkids, my coworkers, or even the patients I meet at work—connection is what lights my path. Knowing that I can bring a smile, offer comfort, or share kindness keeps me moving forward.

Service & Support

Helping others has always been in my spirit. I am motivated by the chance to serve—whether that means guiding a patient through the medical maze, mentoring a coworker, or uplifting someone’s creative journey. Service, to me, is more than a duty; it’s a calling.

Peace & Integrity

I’m motivated by the desire to remain grounded, even when chaos swirls around me. Holding onto my peace and staying true to my integrity motivates me every day. I want my actions and words to align with who I truly am.

Creativity & Expression

I find motivation in creating. Writing, blogging, designing graphics, and sharing reflections all fuel my spirit. Creativity isn’t just a hobby for me—it’s a way of breathing life into my experiences and offering them to others.

Legacy & Memories

Lastly, I am motivated by legacy. My parents left me with love, traditions, and memories that I treasure. I want to do the same for my children, grandchildren, patients, and readers. If I can leave behind a little light, encouragement, or wisdom, then I’ve lived with purpose.

💛 In the end, I am motivated by love, peace, and the hope that I can leave the world just a little better than I found it.
