Why do you blog?

Today’s prompt was asking, “Why do you Blog?” I know in the beginning I knew I wanted to share my thoughts around the Arts & Entertainment Industry. I wanted to share information to help Indie Creators on how to present themselves to gain respected and supportive attention. I wanted to share my experiences in working with and experiencing creative soulz. I wanted to show and prove the power of sharing my thoughts and opinions with others.

Years ago I was watch an “Artist’s House” interview with an industry expert (I forgot who it was) and it always stood out for me, he said when they start writing about you, that’s when you know you are going to make it. I think I wanted to be that person for Indie Creatives.

To a small degree, my thoughts have matter. But I know I have not been consistent. I allowed the challenges of life and being apart of this industry discourage me…

I had a strong desire to document some creative soulz stories…Vegas is full of a wealth of creatives that have road the ups and downs in the entertainment scene in Vegas and beyond. I still believe that their stories are worth documenting.

I did one story and that was it…

Vegas turned me off from my passion of supporting creative soulz… it is a different world and creative culture. I just didn’t fit into the way of life down there and it took a toll on my spirit. So I stopped everything.

I still have a desire to support and share my thoughts and knowledge…but I also desire to share my thoughts on aging in life and in this industry.

I find in some ways I’m still still stuck in how things used to be in growing an audience than the challenges of the world of technology and the arts. I have wondered where I fit into it all.

So today, I write from knowledge and experience, I write as a person craving to feel passion once again. I want to feel I have stories that someone(s) will find themselves connected to.

Arts and Life…I try a way to blend the two subjects.
