Art comes in many forms

We’re all artists and crafters…it’s in how we experience life.

This blog was inspired by a Hallmark movie. 😊

I will always speak about the experience we encountered in life. In my opinion everything in life is an experience, so of course I strongly believe that Art is Life and a personal and a collective experience.

I’m sure that everyone experiences creativity in different ways, such as myself.

More and more I realize what I love about creativity when I feel something, when it can make me react. I love a book that makes me visualize and hear the conversations. I love a movie that I react to the story and characters. (My family laughs at me and now expects me to talk to the tv 😁)

I love a song that grabs my attention, when it makes me close my eyes and feel the vibe, a song that grabs me and I start singing along. Music is so powerful.

I love to experience seasoned performers that are either very polished or just new with passion and vulnerability.

Art done right should be an expression of the creator, but allows an individual to make it an expression of from their soul.

You know the back in the day experience, as arts & entertainment was not so flooded with so many choices…It was a fresh and new experience. Now we live an era where there is not many restrictions on quality and resourcefulness. The challenge is putting yourself out there amongst of plethora of other creatives on social medias to gain attention.

More and more people are creating but I feel more disconnected from Art. There are so many creating, but I wonder how much really is about being authentic and original, over creating what they think people today wants.

More and more I think creators are missing the mark and not creating what people can relate to. So much of what is being created is okay, but not phenomenal to where you remember it and want to experience more.

Of course these are my thoughts, but also the thoughts of a variety of people that I have spoken to over the past year. People experiencing Art that doesn’t stand out…so more and more I think when people come out it’s more about being social, which I do suppose is okay too.

But…don’t you think what you create should be experienced and remembered?

I truly believe when you create something that others can feel and relate to…they remember and want more of.

I would encourage you to create from your heart and that authentic place within yourself that others can relate to. Creativity is an expression to be shared. Be uniquely your real passionate creative soul.

I want to experience something different that stands out and screams, “Flava pay attention and share me with others.”

Your Art should allow someone to create their own experience.
