60+ | The Fall Season

Since returning home from living in Las Vegas for the past 6 years…I thought about how much I missed the defined seasons of Seattle.  But I think the season I missed the most was Fall.  Seattle is so beautiful in the Fall with the changing of the leaves on the trees, with brilliant golds, orange, and reds with green blended in.  Yes, I know that with the Fall season brings more rain, and I even embrace the rain…there is such a fresh smell with rain.  I know with the rain there are definite traffic concerns and more accidents…but the upside is Seattle is so beautiful because of the rain.  This is why the grass is so green almost all year around, we get to enjoy a variety of flowers and brilliant green and multi color foliage.

My feeling is that Fall is a representation to breathe and reflect.  To reevaluate for the next step, stage, and year end outcome, it’s a time to plot and plan for the near future and beyond. It is a season for preparation for the rebirth of colors and life in the Spring…Every season is a preparation for the next.

So, as I sit here and think about my favorite season in Seattle, it truly is Fall…

What’s Your Favorite Season and Why?
