Today a patient came into the clinic where I was working, he had a pleasant kind energy with a great smile.
When I verified his identity, he jokingly said, “I’m accepting birthday gifts.” It wasn’t his birthday, but we laughed and joked. I directed him to the waiting room and went back to working the project I was working on before he came into the clinic.
Shortly after he sat down in the waiting room he was back at my counter. He said, “since you don’t have a gift for me, I have a gift for you,” and he allowed me to choose a color.

What a beautiful Christian gift. I immediately felt a blessing from God.
Soon he was called back for his appointment.
When he came out, I thank him for this gift and blessing. I told I was a Christian and a Minister’s daughter. And he got the biggest smile on his face.
Next thing I know, he said, “I have another gift for you.”

My heart is so full of joy.
I had a few other beautiful conversations with patients today. Sometimes, you need to look people in the eye and let them know you see them and that you care…it if is for a short moment.
When I can allow the God in my shine through and in turn God blessed me in return.

When God works through you, he will come to you.
