A&E | My Favorite Mainstream Artists That I Met/Al Jarreau

Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met?

Al Jarreau

Years ago I worked at Wyndham Garden Hotel in Woodinville, WA where we housed the Jazz Artists that would come to perform at Chateau Ste Michelle Winery.

I was blessed to have met and interacted with a varied of Mainstream Jazz Artists, but sincerely, Al Jarreau was my favorite.

Of course I was and am a fan of his sound, but the man is kind and engaging.

For some reason we connected right away and he wanted only me to handle his business faxes and transactions.

He would come to the front desk where I worked and just talk. His wife’s name was Susan, so maybe that is where we connected.

I’m an energy feeler, and this amazingly talented man was so friendly. I am not one to carry on about someone being famous, but because of his chill and engaging demeanor, I will always remember him. Of course, his music will always live on.

One of my all time favorite jazz artist that I had the pleasure of meeting in person.
