✨ Sometimes the Medicine Isn’t the Treatment — It’s the People
Today reminded me that healing doesn’t always come in a prescription bottle or a medical chart.
Sometimes, it looks like a surgeon telling stories about Nashville — laughing about the heat and high boots.
It sounds like a patient dropping off cookies just to say thank you.
It tastes like surprise Starbucks from someone who didn’t have to — but chose to.
It feels like shared energy between staff, interpreters, and patients — honest, warm, and unforced.
After days that have felt heavy and uncertain, this one landed like a deep exhale.
The medicine today wasn’t treatment.
It was people.
And I’m so grateful for the reminder.
Today Was A Good Day 😁
