🌅 The Morning Mirror: Holding Space for Myself First
Before I open my heart to the world, I must open it to myself.
Each morning, I pause.
Even if it’s just a quiet nod in the mirror, I acknowledge me.
I see the one who shows up through pain.
I hear the one who rarely gets asked, “Are you okay?”
I honor the one who has learned to carry peace in one hand, and resilience in the other.
Because when I hold space for myself first,
I can better hold space for others—with presence, purpose, and boundaries.
So when I walk into the world, I am not depleted—I am prepared.
And the people I care for? They don’t just feel helped.
They feel seen. They feel heard.
That is the power of presence.
That is the practice of peace.
