Covered in Light

Yesterday I found myself reflecting on the heaviness that has lingered in my workplace. It felt dark, overwhelming, and hard to explain. Sometimes the weight of many spirits colliding can leave you numb, unsure of how to process what just happened.

But in the midst of that heaviness, something sacred happened. Someone stood up—not just for themselves, but also for what was right… and for me.

I don’t think I’ve ever truly experienced that before. For much of my life, I’ve had to be the one to fight my battles alone. To feel someone rise beside me, to know I was not left unprotected, touched me more deeply than I can put into words.

It reminded me that even in dark spaces, light finds a way to break through. And sometimes, that light comes in the form of courage, truth, and sincerity.

So today, I walk in gratitude. I honor the strength it took for someone to say, “This isn’t right.” I carry that with me as I step into tomorrow, covered in light, peace, and strength.
