God Don’t Like Ugly

Sometimes wisdom comes wrapped in plain talk and a good laugh. When I shared about the turmoil at work and how it finally came to an end, his response was simple: “Her messy ass…God don’t like ugly.”

It made me laugh, but it also made me pause. Because there’s truth in that. Messy spirits, gossip, and deceit can swirl for a season, but they can’t last forever. Sooner or later, truth reveals itself and light clears the darkness.

It’s a reminder that I don’t need to carry every battle on my shoulders. I can trust that what’s ugly will eventually fall under the weight of its own choices, while I keep walking forward in sincerity and peace.
