🐾 Bean’s Corner: The 77-Year-Old Who Believed in Perfect
Today, my human took a call from a 77-year-old lady who sounded like she had sunshine in her voice. The kind who’s lived long enough to know what matters and sweet enough to make you believe it.
She told my human, “You’re perfect. Don’t ever change.”
Now, my human gets a lot of calls — some polite, some prickly — but this one? This one made her stop and smile.
The lady went on to say that everyone should tell someone every day that they’re perfect. And my human, being who she is, said, “Well then, you better call me every day so we can greet each other!”
That made the lady laugh. You could hear the joy through the phone — two souls passing around a little warmth in the middle of an ordinary workday.
So here’s my Bean take on it: maybe she’s onto something. Maybe if we all told one person they were perfect today, the world would soften just a little bit.
Purrfection isn’t about being flawless — it’s about being kind.
