đŸ Beanâs Corner: The Day Seattle Drivers Tried It (Again)
Let me tell yâall somethingâŠ
My Lady woke up feeling good today.
Body aching a little, hips talking back â but nothing she couldnât handle. She put on her cute outfit, grabbed her pink cane, and headed out with Poopsie like she owned the morning.
But baybeeeeeeâŠ
the minute she hit that hospital crosswalk?
Seattle drivers said:
âCrosswalk? Never heard of her.â
Cars were zipping by like they were late to a free Beyoncé concert.
And Lady Flava is standing there with the pink cane â THE PINK CANE â like:
âYou see this cane, right? You see this crosswalk, right? You see ME, right?â
Apparently not.
Because folks were zooming past like she was part of the sidewalk décor.
So what did she do?
Did she yell?
Did she throw up her hands?
Did she tap the cane on somebodyâs hood?
Nope.
She did that grown-woman, unbothered move:
She shook her head.
And kept walking.
Because when youâre Lady Flava, you donât argue with chaos.
You donât chase foolishness.
And you donât let strangers with no home training interrupt your peace.
Besides⊠she had a whole hospital to bless with her presence.
People to greet.
Energy to set.
Work to do.
And a body that was cooperating today â which is always worth celebrating.
But Bean?
Oh, Bean had thoughts:
âIf Lady Flava is in a crosswalk, you better stop.â âIf a pink cane is visible, you better slow down.â âIf youâre driving reckless in front of a hospital⊠Iâm praying for you.â
Because one thing about Bean â
I protect my Lady at ALL angles.
And letâs be honestâŠ
through it all, she still made it to work with a calm spirit, sunflower blinders on, leopard headphones ready, and a whole lotta grace.
Seattle drivers tried it.
But Lady Flava stayed unshaken.
Beanâs note of the day:
âMove at your pace, shake your head at the foolishness, and donât let anybody rush your journey â especially not at a crosswalk.â đŸ
