🐾 “CAT Scan Pending at the Cerebrovascular Clinic”
A Beanism by Yours Truly, Bean the Cat 😼
So Grandma’s minding her business — checking in patients, finishing referrals, being her usual superstar self — when the unexpected rolls in.
A patient drives all the way from Eugene, Oregon. Okay, fine.
Except… they didn’t come alone.
They brought two cats.
Not in cages. Not on leashes. Just freely living their best lives. 🐈⬛🐈
These cats stroll into the Cerebrovascular clinic like they own it. Tails high, confidence higher.
Before Grandma can even blink, she hears the nurses:
“Sparky’s here!!”
Excuse me… who?
Apparently, Sparky is famous around here. Clinic royalty. Everyone knows him. Even Rich at the front desk goes,
“Is it the one everybody knows? …Sparky?”
Meanwhile, E out there holding and petting Sparky like she’s his personal assistant, and T grinning because even he knows you don’t ignore a celebrity cat.
Grandma? She’s still trying to process how a cat gets better name recognition than half the surgeons. 🤣
The other cat — sorry, sweetheart — remains “Sparky’s Friend,” because when you’re hanging with a star, anonymity is part of the gig.
And through it all, Grandma calmly checks in the patient without them even needing to come to the desk, because she knows: the less chaos, the better.
So yeah — just another normal day at the Cerebrovascular Clinic, where even the cats have follow-ups. 😹🌻
