The Mystery at Nico’s Window

Good morning. Bean here, reporting from the Tower. 🐾

The cedar started talking before the sun had properly shown up. Nanny Flava could hear the birds chattering and see the branches bouncing, but the birds themselves? Hidden. I respect a good mystery.

Musty took his post at our window. Across the way, Nico was on duty at his. Then Rascal ran up the utility pole as if he had an appointment at the top. The whole neighborhood was busy, and it wasn’t even time for coffee.

But then came the white bowl.

Nico’s human leaned out and poured something from it. Liquid, according to Nanny Flava. Where was it going? Why was it going there? Bean has questions, especially since people sometimes stand below that window.

Shortly afterward, Nico moved to the bedroom window. I cannot confirm that the two events are related. As a responsible reporter, I can only say his timing was excellent. 🤣

The birds are still talking. Rascal is still Rascal. Musty has the home window covered, and Nico has found a new vantage point.

Life at the Tower is never dull.
