My Sunflower Blinders

This week went differently because I pulled my sunflower blinders out of the drawer. 🌻

They helped me stay focused on what mattered: my phone calls and the life moving outside my tower window. I did my work, watched my visitors come and go, and felt good about my week.

The outside rhythm is changing as we head into fall. Different birds are coming to visit, and the cedar branches look fuller now. Daylight arrives after I’ve already started working at my desk. This morning, I could hear the birds chattering and see the branches bounce before I could see who was in there. 🤣

What I’m really looking forward to is watching the many trees change color. Seattle is so beautiful in the fall.
