Sunday’s A Taste of Flava

That rain and wind storm made for a rough night. It was unpredictable, and every time the power flashed off and back on, I wondered if it would stay on. We were blessed that it never stayed off.

I stayed in bed until around 9:00, and honestly, I haven’t had much energy today. I just feel tired.

My body has that familiar arthritic ache that I associate with this kind of weather, but the pain is still doable. Remember, I still have a left hip that needs replacing. One hip at a time, folks. 😉

Still, I’m grateful. I feel like my healing is going well, and I’m looking forward to hearing what my surgeon thinks.

Tomorrow is my first post-op follow-up with my hip surgeon. Then Tuesday, I have my physical therapy evaluation with therapist, that has worked with me for years. I’m actually very excited! I’m ready to talk about my progress and find out what comes next.

But today? I’m keeping it simple. I’m going to enjoy the sandwich my daughter got me, settle in, and watch the Seahawks game. That sounds like enough for this tired girl.
