A Simple Way To End The Night #SelfCare

My life is crazy due to my job as a nursing staffing coordinator and patient scheduler. I’m grateful for the weekends, so on Friday it is TGIF.

But I have been seeking ways to calm my mind-body-spirit during the week…

I was having a great conversation with my youngest daughter who is into organic, natural ways to live life and take care of oneself.

My BabyGirl said, “Momma, put some essential oil’s in your bath, light a candle, makes some herbal tea and listen to some soothing music.

Simple right, and I had it all…but the norm was trying to come down from the stress of the day by sitting in quiet…which is needed as an Empath but what great advise my daughter gave me.

Lavender and Eucalyptus are 2 of my favorite scents and now a regular in my nighttime bath along with a Night Time Tea.

Look around your space, what do you have right now that can help you relax after a rough day? The tips my daughter gave me is a inexpensive way to do some self care:

– Essential Oils

– Candle

– Herbal Tea

– Nature sounds with piano on YouTube

Let me know your tips, I’m sure so many of us may not think about what we can do to end the night peacefully.
