A Sip of Flava ☕🐧
Grumpy Penguin Grandma, Cold Brew, & Bean’s Observations
This morning I woke up as a full-on Grumpy Penguin Grandma.
Annoyed by things that normally wouldn’t even make the list.
Just one of those mornings where everything feels unnecessary and loud.
Nothing dramatic.
Just simple, stupid stuff hitting wrong.
Then… the cold brew.
One sip in and—listen—
I don’t know if it’s science, faith, or straight-up magic, but my attitude shifted.
Not perfect.
But about 75% improved, which is enough to function like a decent human.
That’s when Bean showed up.
Bean sat there.
Watched me sip.
Blink-blinked slowly.
And gave me that look like:
“Ah yes… the caffeine ritual is complete. The human is stabilizing.”
She didn’t judge.
She didn’t intervene.
She just observed—like a tiny furry therapist who’s seen this episode before.
Some mornings don’t require a breakthrough.
They just need caffeine, self-awareness, and a cat who knows when to stay silent.
Signed,
A recovering Grumpy Penguin Grandma

Bean’s Corner 🐾
“I watched her sip the coffee.
The white-haired Grumpy Penguin Grandma stared into the distance…
and slowly returned to acceptable human behavior.
Caffeine works. I approve.” 😼☕
