Evening A Taste of Flava| My Monday

Monday Evening A Taste of Flava
There’s a Whole Neighborhood Outside My Window

I don’t have to leave my tower to find a little entertainment. Some days, all I have to do is look up. 🤣

Today, the crows were hanging out while the little birds went about their business nearby. Nobody seemed bothered by anybody. Two crows even tucked themselves behind the greenery, but yes… I still spotted them.

Then there’s a new visitor with a peach-colored belly. She stopped by at least twice, and that’s about all I can tell you. I was so focused on her belly that I forgot to pay attention to the rest of the bird. Don’t ask me for identification details just yet. 🤣🤣

My little singer gave me a performance, too. Watching these birds has me asking questions I never thought about before. How does a bird look so slim flying, then land and turn into a little feather ball?

Apparently, I’m paying attention to everybody’s business outside my window.

Inside, Musty took over the open side of the window while Ghini tried to squeeze his face in beside him. Big brother apparently decided that sharing meant leaving just enough room for a nose. 😹

Between patient calls and the usual Monday responsibilities, these little moments kept giving me a reason to smile.

I think sometimes we expect joy to arrive as something big. A trip. A celebration. Something we put on the calendar.

But today, mine had feathers, whiskers, and absolutely no appointment.

What little thing made you smile today?
