A Taste of Flava | Back Home After Surgery

🌻 Evening A Taste of Flava 🌻

Just a quick surgery day update before I call it a night.

My surgery was a success! 🙏🏼🎉

I received great care from start to finish. There were so many staff members coming and going that it was hard to keep up with everyone, but I’m grateful for every one of them.

Here’s how my day went—and remember, these times aren’t exact! 😉

🌻 Checked in around 9:00 a.m.
🌻 Surgery around 11:45 a.m.
🌻 Woke up after surgery around 4:00 p.m.
🌻 Moved to recovery around 5:00 p.m.
🌻 Did really well walking and doing stairs
🌻 Home around 6:00–6:30 p.m.
🌻 Back in my tower by 8:30 p.m.

My only concern was that my blood pressure dropped, but the medical staff helped get it back to a safe level before moving me to recovery. 🙏🏼

Once I got home, I had dinner and spent some wonderful time with Kiki. Then Mari and I decided to try the stairs while I was still feeling good, since I was told the pain may get worse over the next few days.

And y’all… I made it up 28 stairs with no pain! I did the best ever! 🎉🙏🏼

Now I’m going to rest in my tower. I’m tired, grateful, and ready to let my body do its thing.

More updates tomorrow.

Good Night 💤
