60+|A New Chapter

A New Chapter at 65

As I approach my 65th birthday, I’m choosing to see this moment not as the end of something—but as the beginning of something new. A new chapter. A softer, wiser season where I finally give myself permission to show up fully for me.

This weekend, I’m carving out time to get my blog site together. I’ve talked about it for a while—shifting my focus, redefining my voice, creating space for reflection, wellness, and aging with grace. Now it’s time to stop talking and start building.

I’m finally going to unpack my desktop and set it up properly. It’s been sitting there waiting for me, and now I’m ready to create a workspace that feels inspiring, nurturing, and mine. I’ve also been tempted to treat myself to a small laptop. Honestly, my tablet just isn’t doing it for me—but maybe, just maybe, I’ll give it one more try before I swipe that card (lol).

This birthday doesn’t feel heavy. It feels full of possibility. I may start it with a haircut and end it sitting peacefully by the lake, letting the breeze remind me that life is still unfolding in beautiful ways.

Here’s to 65.

To starting fresh.

To believing in myself again.

To writing the next chapter—with intention, grace, and all the love I’ve learned to carry.
