🌻 Anticipating the Shift

As I anticipate a shift at work, God continues to send me blessings—reminders that I am exactly where I need to be. Patients tell me I am kind, whether we are face-to-face or connecting over the phone. Even those who speak Spanish find comfort in my tone and patience.

I hear words of encouragement from a supervisor, see warm smiles from medical staff, and feel the gentle embrace of daily reminders that goodness surrounds me.

Yes, I am anticipating the needed shift—but I also know in my heart that it is coming. And with this knowledge, I breathe a little easier.

I am deeply grateful to Jessica, my sounding board, who has helped me stay grounded through the challenges I’ve faced over the last couple of months. She provides me a safe place to process, to release, and to be reminded of my strength.

I do not feel the darkness, because there is too much light surrounding my soul. In that light, I see leopard print and sunflowers—the symbols of my spirit and the reminder that joy always wins.
