A Friendship Spoken Into Existence
Before I ever returned home, I sat in a Zoom interview with someone who saw me not only as a potential co-worker but as a future friend. She looked at me through the screen and said with confidence, “I want you, and we’re going to be friends.”
At the time, I smiled, not fully knowing what that would mean. But today, I see how her words have come to life. Our connection has grown beyond the walls of work. Whether we’re sharing laughter during the day or chatting on the drive home, there’s a comfort and trust that reminds me how rare and special true connections can be.
Some friendships begin with years of shared history. Others are spoken into existence — and bloom right when you need them most. 🌻
