🌻 Seasoned SoulZ | Old School Standards, Japanese Roots
I come from a time — and a culture — where doing your best wasn’t optional.
You showed up early. You paid attention to detail. You respected your elders, your coworkers, and your space.
My Japanese side taught me that discipline is a form of peace.
That work is not just what you do, it’s how you carry yourself.
Even something as small as cleaning your workspace or arriving on time isn’t just habit — it’s respect.
These days, I often feel like I’m speaking a different language at work.
I don’t understand how some people stroll in late, leave tasks unfinished, or treat effort like it’s optional.
It’s not that I’m angry — it’s just foreign to me.
In my world, you don’t wait for someone to ask you to do the right thing — you just do it.
You take pride in your name, your work, and your word.
Maybe I am old school.
Maybe it’s my Japanese standards whispering through me.
But I believe that consistency, respect, and care are never out of style — they just look rare these days.
