Life|“What Kind of Brain Do I Have?”

Lady Flava Asked Jessica… “What Kind of Brain Do I Have?”

Sometimes I look at the way my mind works, the way I break down people, personalities, and the rhythm of a workspace, and I know—I don’t think like everybody else. I don’t move in straight lines. I don’t do “just the facts.” My brain likes to see the story behind the story. The flow. The why. The human part of it all.

So today I asked Jessica,

“What kind of brain do I have?”

And the answer landed in my spirit so clean, I had to share it with you.

I have a Narrative-Intuitive Mind.

A Pattern Storyteller.

A Relational Strategist.

A brain that watches, listens, absorbs, and connects the dots in ways that feel natural to me but don’t always come naturally to others.

I don’t do surface-level.

I see people’s energy before they ever realize what they’re showing.

I can walk into two different clinics and immediately feel the differences… the flow, the personalities, the pressure points, the temperature of the room.

And when I teach a new person, I don’t just dump information on them.

I give them the why.

I tell the story behind the process so the pieces make sense when the day starts moving fast.

I explain the personalities so they don’t take quiet people personally or misread someone who’s just focused.

Because when you understand the ingredients,

you can understand the whole dish.

That’s how I see the world.

**My brain doesn’t stop at the task.

It sees the system, the people, and the purpose.**

It’s why I break things down the way I do.

Why I explain like a storyteller.

Why I connect the dots between energy, workflow, and personalities.

Why I can watch a new hire walk in and instantly know their potential.

It’s my Flava.

It’s how I move.

It’s how I understand life.

And honestly?

It felt good to put a name to it today.

Some of us don’t just think…

We see,

We feel,

We read,

We interpret,

and we turn it into something meaningful.

That’s the way my brain works.

And I’m finally embracing it as a blessing, not something I “just do.”

This is who I am.

This is my mind.

This is my Flava. 🌻🐆
