Morning Intention – Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Today, I choose courage over comfort.

I choose justice even when it costs me something.

I will speak with honesty, act with compassion, and refuse to stay silent when silence would make me complicit.

I will see the humanity in others — even when it’s hard.

I will stand for dignity, fairness, and truth, not just in words, but in how I show up.

I understand that peace is not passive and love is not weak.

Both require strength, consistency, and action.

Today, I honor Martin Luther King Jr. by doing my part —in small moments, quiet choices, and brave conversations.

I will be the kind of light that makes room for justice to grow.
