🌻 How Do You Relax?

Relaxation looks different for everyone. For me, it comes in moments that allow me to pause, breathe, and reconnect with myself.

Writing as My Calm

I am most relaxed when I am writing. Whether I’m processing life, capturing a memory, or sharing something that inspires me—writing is where my mind and spirit find stillness. The written word gives me room to breathe, reflect, and let go.

Meditation & BreathWork

Each morning before I get out of bed and every night before I fall asleep, I intentionally spend time in meditation and BreathWork. Even in the middle of a busy workday or while driving, I pause for a deep intentional breath:

Inhale for 4 counts Hold for 2 counts Exhale for 6 counts

It’s such a simple practice, but it makes a huge difference. I would recommend everyone try incorporating BreathWork into their daily or nightly routine—it can reset your body and calm your mind.

Everyday Moments of Rest

To be honest, sometimes relaxation for me is as simple as lounging on the couch after work and scrolling through social media for an hour. It may not be profound, but it allows my mind to disengage and shift gears.

Relaxation isn’t about perfection; it’s about creating spaces that allow us to reset. For me, that balance comes through writing, breathing, and giving myself permission to just be.
