What’s something you believe everyone should know.

“What’s something you believe everyone should know?”
I wish someone told me when I was younger that I had far more control over how my life played out than I ever realized. We give up so much of our power — especially to other people. We let their moods, their opinions, their chaos guide decisions that should have belonged to us.
The simple truth is this:
You are in control of how you react.
Not your family, not your coworkers, not society — you.
You are in control of whether you follow through on the decisions you make.
No one else can walk that out for you.
You are in control of what you allow, what you tolerate, and what you refuse to carry anymore.
Boundaries aren’t selfish — they’re necessary.
But society teaches us the blame game early.
Point a finger.
Make excuses.
Procrastinate.
Stop handing your power to someone who never earned that authority in the first place.
The truth?
Your life changes when you stop outsourcing your power.
Take responsibility for your reactions.
Take ownership of your choices.
Take back your energy from people and situations that drain you.
Everyone should know this:
You can’t control the world — but you absolutely can control what you allow to shape you.
