Coffees With Lady Flava |Vol. 1

☕️ Coffee with Lady Flava

Some mornings don’t come in loud.

They come in slow.

Today was one of those days.

I woke up rested, still a little sleepy, body quieter than yesterday, mood a bit off. One of those mornings where you don’t feel bad—but you don’t feel fully online either. The kind where you move gently and don’t rush yourself into being “on.”

Then I made my coffee.

That first sip?

Comfort. Familiar. Grounding.

Not magic. Just enough to say, okay… I’m here.

I worked from home today—thankfully—and let my body set the pace. The phones started ringing. I found my voice. That calm tone I’ve built over years of listening to people who are worried, frustrated, in pain, or scared.

Even the tough call came and went. The yelling softened. Kindness landed where it mattered. And somehow, I handled it better than I expected.

That’s what coffee is for me.

Not just caffeine—but a ritual.

A pause.

A reminder that I don’t have to be perfect to be present.

Some days we don’t need motivation.

We just need a warm cup and the permission to ease into ourselves.

So if your morning feels a little off…

Pull up a chair.

You’re not late.

You’re right on time.
