A Sip of Flava ☕
Have you ever taken the time to stop — really stop — and ask yourself what you want your future to look like… and then actually take the first step toward it?
I know I said I wasn’t setting goals this year. I was focused on intentions. But somewhere along the way, especially at this stage of my life, my intention-setting naturally led me to set a goal for myself and my future.
And let me tell you — it feels empowering.
2025 was a challenging year for me on so many levels. Emotionally. Spiritually. Professionally. I knew deep down that I needed to position myself in a way that would allow me to let go quickly and move forward without carrying unnecessary weight.
And once again, I listened.
When I took the step to start something for myself — something aligned, intentional, and purposeful — I was reminded that I’m not new to this. I’ve done this before. And just like before, God opened a door and invited me to step through it.
This is what I want to encourage you to do as we move into this new year:
Take an honest look at your life.
Is there something happening that doesn’t deserve to follow you into this season?
Something that drains you, silences you, or weighs on your spirit?
If so, identify it.
Then explore what you can do to limit its access to your life — or release it altogether.
Because let me tell you…
Let me tell you clearly…
We do not need to carry into a new year anything that does not feed our spirit.
Sometimes the shift we need isn’t dramatic.
It’s simply deciding to step out of the box we’ve been living in and explore what’s possible on the other side.
This is for us.
And we are worth making changes — even early in the year.
God bless you as we step into a new season filled with possibility.
