💭 Grace in Timing
Simply Flava | Reflections & Growth
Life has a way of reminding us that we’re not in control of the clock. We plan, we schedule, we think we know how things should unfold — and then something happens that shifts everything.
When I heard that a dear friend’s mother passed the night after her birthday visit, it stopped me in my tracks. That moment carried both heartbreak and grace. Her mother held on long enough to see her child celebrate another year, to feel that love one more time. It’s a reminder that timing isn’t always fair, but sometimes it’s sacred.
We spend so much energy fighting what we can’t change, trying to understand why things happen when they do. But maybe the “why” isn’t meant to be solved — maybe it’s meant to be felt. Grace doesn’t always arrive with comfort; sometimes it arrives with clarity, with the quiet realization that we were exactly where we needed to be, even if it hurt.
So today, I’m choosing to trust timing — the pauses, the delays, the unexpected endings that don’t make sense until later. Because somewhere between heartbreak and healing, grace always finds its moment.
