Wednesday Tower Window Wildlife with Lady Flava

Some days… the world outside your window is just alive.

Today was one of those days.

Before I even settled into my work, I could feel it…

👉 movement everywhere

👉 wings flapping

👉 little feet running across the roof like they pay rent up here 🤣

And then…

Out of nowhere…

👉 a bald eagle landed on the pole.

I saw him fly in—huge… powerful… undeniable.

And I just sat there like:

👉 “Wait… is that really an eagle?”

Yes it was.

I named him Chief 🦅

And for that moment…

everything slowed down.

Roscoe came in next—full energy.

Not sitting still, not posing…

just flying in, landing quick, and taking off like:

👉 “I got things to do today.”

Then Poe showed up.

And you already know…

👉 calm

👉 steady

👉 perched like he’s supervising the whole neighborhood 🖤

At one point, he flew right down in front of my window…

and later, there he was again—up on the wire—just grooming himself like:

👉 “Let me get myself together.”

Meanwhile…

Chip & Dale were running around like it was a full track meet 🐿️🤣

Tom & Jerry (the birds) were chasing like they had unfinished business

And the starlings??

👉 in and out so fast I could barely catch them

Oh… and let’s not forget…

A whole helicopter decided to circle the area like:

👉 “Yeah… I’m part of this too.” 🚁🤣

Inside the house?

Musty was on full patrol.

Watching the window…

tracking every move…

trying to catch a fly that had the nerve to land on the screen

And then just like that…

👉 he clocked out

stretched out

and went to sleep like he worked a full shift too 😂

What I love about days like this…

Even when the day feels a little messy…

a little off…

👉 there’s still something beautiful happening right outside your window

Sometimes you just have to pause…

look up…

and watch life move for a minute.
