Tower Window Wildlife with Lady Flava|Vol.3

Tower Window Wildlife with Lady Flava

Today I’m sitting in my tower window, watching the quiet life that happens just outside my glass.

My boys, Lamborghini and Musty, are hanging out with me, watching the world like little wildlife observers themselves. Sometimes they are serious. Sometimes their tails twitch like they are planning something mischievous.

But the real show outside my window belongs to the birds.

All day long, different birds come to visit my cedar tree. Some stay only a moment. Others sit long enough that I start wondering about their little lives.

I find myself naming them.

I make up stories in my head about what they might be thinking, where they are going, and where they disappear to after they leave my tree.

Do they have a favorite branch?

Do they argue with each other like neighbors?

Do they have families waiting somewhere nearby?

And sometimes I wonder something even funnier…

Do they notice me sitting on the other side of the window?

Do they see my laptop glowing?

Do they notice my cats watching them like tiny security guards?

It makes me smile thinking about it.

What I do know is this: these birds have quietly become part of my daily rhythm and flow. They arrive, they leave, and they return again the next day as if we all share this little corner of the world together.

My tower window has become my favorite place to sit and pause.

To breathe.

To watch.

To notice life.

And in those quiet moments, I often find myself thanking God for the simple blessing of the wildlife outside my window.

Sometimes the most peaceful moments are the ones happening right outside our own homes — if we slow down long enough to see them.
