When Your Energy Changes… Everything Around You Does Too

I’ve been sitting with something lately…

Not just about work…

but about life.

The more time passes, the more I realize…

I understand myself better now.

My “why” isn’t the same as it used to be.

And that’s okay.

Actually… it’s necessary.

I’ve lived life on my own…

then found myself returning home.

I’ve gone from being fully mobile…

to learning how to move through life differently.

I’ve worked with people my age…

and now I’m surrounded by a completely different generation.

I’ve had to learn how to set boundaries…

not because I wanted to at first…

but because I needed to.

And somewhere along the way…

I changed.

Not overnight…

not all at once…

But slowly… naturally…

and sometimes through things I didn’t even ask for.

But here’s what I’ve noticed…

When I stopped resisting the changes…

and started embracing what was necessary…

My energy shifted.

And not in a small way.

In a real way.

I sleep better now.

Not just physically…

but mentally.

I don’t lay there replaying conversations,

rehashing old stories,

or carrying things that don’t belong to me anymore.

I have more desire to move my body.

Not out of pressure…

but out of care.

Purposeful movement…

even in small ways…

feels like I’m showing up for myself.

And something else…

I’ve slowed down enough to notice life around me.

The birds outside my tower window…

the wind moving through the trees…

the quiet moments that used to pass me by…

Now I see them.

And I enjoy them.

While I’m working…

while I’m living…

I’m present.

And maybe the biggest shift of all…

I stopped living in old stories.

I stopped replaying what was…

and started accepting what is.

And because of that…

I carry a different energy now.

A lighter one.

A more peaceful one.

A more positive aura.

Here’s the real talk…

Your life is going to change.

You are going to change.

Your “why” will evolve.

And sometimes it won’t be by choice…

but that doesn’t mean it’s not for your good.

When you allow yourself to grow…

to adjust…

to release what no longer fits…

Your energy will change.

And when your energy changes…

Everything around you does too.

And I can honestly say…

Mine has changed for the better.
