The other day someone responded to my message with two little letters…

“nw.”

I stared at my phone.

Northwest?
New World?
No Way?

Nope.

It means “No worries.” 🤣

The older I get, the more I realize technology has created its own language. People carry on entire conversations with initials.

TY.
NP.
YW.
IMO.
TBH.
BRB.

Half the time I’m just smiling and hoping I can figure it out from the context. 😂

I finally admitted defeat and asked Jessica what “nw” meant.

I guess there’s no shame in learning something new. Every generation has its own slang. Ours just happens to fit in two or three letters.

So tell me…
