Monday Blog: You Got to Want It, Work It, to Win It

There’s something about falling asleep with a good quote ringing in your spirit.

Last night, before sleep finally decided to show up at 4am, I heard Deion Sanders drop a line that landed right in my chest:

“You got to want it, work it, to win it.” — Deion Sanders

Now that right there… that’s a whole sermon in one sentence.

Because wanting it is cute — that’s the dream part.

Working it? That’s the grit… the uncomfortable… the stretching… the early mornings and the late nights.

But winning it? That’s the reward that shows up after you decide you’re done flirting with your goals and ready to commit to them.

And let me tell you… life will test you.

Your energy, your drive, your discipline, your belief in yourself.

And every time you push through, every time you decide that quitting isn’t your flavor, you’re casting your vote for the win.

So here we are… Monday morning.

Eyes open. Body a little tired. Spirit still standing tall.

And this is your reminder that whatever you’re chasing — healing, clarity, your next chapter, a better version of you — it’s all waiting on the other side of Want + Work + Win.

This week, I’m choosing to apply pressure to my own life.

Not to impress anybody…

Not to prove anything…

But because my win belongs to me, and I’m willing to put in the work that carries my name on it.

Let’s go get it.
