A Soul On Fire šŸ”„

There’s a quote I heard that sat with me… and didn’t let go:

ā€œThe most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul on fire.ā€ — Ferdinand Foch

And when I really let that sink in… I had to pause.

Because that kind of fire?

It’s not loud all the time.

It’s not always seen by others.

But when you feel it…

you know something in you has shifted.

It took me time—real time—to understand myself.

And I’m going to be honest…

longer than I would have liked.

I spent years… seeking approval.

Wanting to feel valued.

Trying to fit into spaces that required me to shrink just to belong.

And one day, I had to face a hard truth:

I was never built to shrink.

My daddy knew it.

Life mentors saw it.

There was always something in me that was meant to serve people—

not in a small way…

but in a way that moves people.

And now?

I understand it.

My writing is not just something I do…

it’s my passion.

And I believe now—it’s my purpose.

Recently, I had a moment that shifted my mindset.

I stopped focusing on expectations…

and started focusing on people.

I showed up differently.

I listened more intentionally.

I responded with care and kindness.

Because in that moment, I believed something deeply:

People deserve to feel heard.

And that changed everything.

It was a different mindset.

And the more I pay attention…

the more I realize how powerful it is

to control how I start my day…

and how I end my night.

Because that’s where it begins.

Not in the noise.

Not in other people’s expectations.

But in me.

I really wish more people understood this…

We have more control than we think.

We can guide how we feel.

We can choose how we respond.

We can set an intentional direction for our lives—

and turn that into habits… into routine… into change.

That’s not just motivating…

That’s empowering.

That quote? That ā€œsoul on fireā€?

It’s not about force.

It’s about conviction.

It’s about knowing who you are…

and no longer asking permission to be it.

And I’m going to say this plain…

When your soul is on fire,

you don’t need validation the same way anymore.

Because you’ve already decided:

I know who I am.

I know why I’m here.

And I’m going to walk in it.

This moment reminded me…

Your mindset will either dim your light…

or it will set your whole life on fire.

And me?

I’m choosing the fire. šŸ”„

Closing Line:

Don’t spend your life shrinking to fit places you’ve outgrown.

Set your soul on fire… and let it lead you.
