Friday – A Taste of Flava
The older I get, the more I realize that I am a simple girl.
I’m not a materialistic person, and I’ve never been drawn to glitz and glamour. Now don’t get me wrong… I do love clothes! But working from home and becoming disabled has definitely changed my whole clothing game. 🤣
One thing I love watching is tiny homes. I follow several people on social media who have embraced that lifestyle. Living in Las Vegas by myself, and now being back home, has taught me something about myself.
I’ve learned to appreciate having less and to crave peace and quiet.
To me, bigger isn’t always better.
A bigger home costs more.
It’s more work to clean and maintain.
It can also become filled with things we don’t really need.
I’d rather have a cozy space that brings me peace, knowing I have money tucked away to live comfortably and enjoy life more and more as my body heals.
And of course, my little space would have leopard print and sunflowers everywhere. 🌻🐆
I think I’d call it…
Flava’s Little Space. 😁
Sometimes happiness isn’t found in having more.
Sometimes it’s found in finally realizing how little you truly need to feel at home.
Happy Friday!
