Thursday A Taste of Flava
I woke up feeling pretty good this morning. My pain level is doable, and I’m able to move much better. I’m walking tall, twisting, bending, and reaching without pain.
I started my morning listening to my favorite monk, Shi Heng Yi. He always says something that makes me stop and think. I love that.
I sat down at my desk a little early, and Chip and Dale (my squirrel friends) were busy going back and forth, jumping into my cedar tree.

Then, out of nowhere, Chip stopped right in front of my tower window on the power line. He turned and faced me, just staring while slowly waving his tail. I guess he noticed me sitting in the tower.

Meanwhile, Dale was on the other side, busy inspecting the electrical wires.

Then, out of nowhere, a little bird landed in the exact same spot where Chip had been. He did the same thing… he just stared at me.
This is a good thing… right? 🤣
Maybe my outdoor friends are noticing me and letting me know it.
Well, it’s going to be another hot day here in Seattle, but I’m ready. My leopard tumbler is filled to the top with water, and once the temperature reaches 80 degrees, I’ll close the blinds to protect my work laptop and help keep the heat out of my tower.
Stay cool, stay hydrated, and have a fabulous Thursday!
