The Energy of Our Space

Our voices carry energy, but so do the spaces we create. Patients and families don’t just notice our words — they notice how it feels to be in our clinic.

Recently, I met a family visiting from another state. The patient was a spine surgeon himself, yet he chose to place his trust in one of our surgeons to perform his surgery. His wife shared how impressed she was with the way our clinic looked and how it was laid out.

It reminded me that even those who know medicine deeply still notice the same things all patients do — the energy, the kindness, and the environment that welcomes them in. Healing begins long before a surgery or procedure. It begins with a voice on the phone, a warm welcome at the desk, and the physical space that reassures people they are in good hands.
