Sunday – A Sip of Flava ☕🌻
Working With the Day, Not Against It
Saturday didn’t need to be rushed.
My body was talking.
The weather was whispering.
So I listened.
I worked through my day with intention—slow and steady.
Chores got done a little at a time, with breaks in between.
Laundry in. Bathroom cleaned.
Nothing dramatic. Just movement.
I also spent time on Lady Flava projects with no stress attached. No pressure to perform. No deadlines barking at me. Just creating in a way that felt kind to my body and mind.
I’m learning something important:
I can set intentions that matter to me and still move forward—even when pain shows up and the weather shifts my rhythm.
I like things orderly. Always have.
But life—and health—have a way of knocking things sideways. My space became a little disorderly, and I let it go. That was okay for a season. But now it’s time to bring my tower back to what makes it feel good to me.
If you’ve let things slide because of health concerns, don’t beat yourself up.
Seriously—don’t.
Just know this:
Doing a little at a time is still forward motion.
Rest is not quitting.
Pacing is not failure.
And intention changes everything.
Sip by sip… we get there.
