365 Days Later

In 2003, I began my journey as Lady Flava.

Back then, I was Lady Flava the coffee house owner. Over time, I became Lady Flava the indie artist cheerleader, supporting independent artists, authors, filmmakers, musicians, and entrepreneurs who were chasing their dreams.

Then, in 2024, my writing took on a different direction.

I stepped away from the entertainment world and returned to something much more personal.

Today, I write about life.

I write about aging, health and wellness, finding joy in everyday moments, and learning how to control our thoughts and reactions through the power of intention.

Twenty-three years later, I still proudly write under my creative name, Lady Flava.

One of the things I have always loved is maintaining a little privacy and a bit of mystery.

During my years on BlogTalkRadio, listeners knew my voice long before they knew anything about me. I learned that you don’t always need to be seen to make an impact. Sometimes your words, your passion, and your enthusiasm are enough to create a meaningful connection.

Today, I no longer host radio shows.

I simply write.

I share pieces of my life, my thoughts, my lessons, and my heart.

I post here and there on social media, but my focus is no longer on chasing numbers.

Instead, I find myself smiling when I see readers from different states and countries discovering my blogs. Knowing that my words have reached someone I may never meet is a blessing I never take for granted.

A long time ago, I realized that God’s purpose for my life was to be in service to others.

Whether it has been through healthcare, mentoring, volunteering, radio, or writing, I believe that purpose has remained the same. Only the platform has changed.

One year ago today, I made a commitment to myself.

I committed to writing four blogs every single day.

Today marks 365 consecutive days of keeping that promise.

What started as a challenge has become part of my daily rhythm.

It has become part of who I am.

I am deeply grateful for every person who has taken the time to read my blogs, leave a comment, send a message, or simply stop by for a few moments each day.

Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journey.
