Wednesday A Taste of Flava
The Neighborhood Clocked In Before I Did
I woke up tired this morning.
I slept well, but my body was aching, and I just didn’t feel fully awake. I was okay—just tired.
While I worked on the Call Out List, my crow friend arrived and sat on the wire outside my window. He stretched his wings, moved over to the cedar tree, and appeared ready to supervise the neighborhood.
Then the starlings arrived.
They gathered on the wires and utility pole before moving into the cedar tree. It looked like they were having their own morning huddle meeting.
I was working on the Call Out List, and they were apparently working on theirs. 🤣
Now, right on schedule, the Wednesday garbage trucks are arriving.
It has been a busy morning outside my window. My crow friend reported for duty, the starlings held their staff meeting, and the garbage trucks arrived to handle Wednesday business.
And me?
I am still tired, but I am here—working, watching, and allowing the morning to unfold around me.
Sometimes, A Taste of Flava is simply noticing life happening outside my window while I handle the business happening inside my tower. 🌻
