Now that I’m turning 65 in just a few days, retirement has been on my mind more than ever. I find myself dreaming of what retirement could look like — not just realistically, but ideally. And today, I’m choosing to write about my dream retirement 😊

I see myself retiring at 67, financially secure and full of purpose. My children and grandbaby will be thriving in their own lives, and I will embrace a beautifully simple lifestyle — writing as a blogger and advocate for the many seasoned soulz near and far.

I will downsize and move into my custom-built tiny home — one I can tow myself with a truck. That’s the freedom I crave: the ability to roam, without being tied to any one place. Some days I’ll park near my daughters, other times by the ocean or nestled in a lush rainforest. Maybe I’ll visit My Peace, or settle in a cozy tiny home community where kindred spirits gather. Wherever my spirit wants to go, I’ll follow.

By then, I’ll be traveling the country for speaking engagements — sharing messages of aging with hope, health, and joy. I imagine my days filled with vibrant energy: dancing, walking, exploring, and just soaking in life without the weight of responsibilities that once defined my daily routine.

I’ll sit on my porch during warm afternoons, and curl up by the fireplace when the air turns crisp. I’ll return to reading books for review, tucked into my comfy chair with my leopard-print blanket. 💛

Juicing. Healthy eating. Breathwork. Meditation. Movement. These won’t just be wellness goals — they’ll be a way of life. Because I believe it’s never too late to choose health and peace.

My sanctuary will be filled with:

Good music Fresh fruits and veggies Trees and clean air Art and creativity And of course… my favorite leopard and sunflower knick-knacks 🐆🌻

I’ll venture out to enjoy good company when I wish — and return home to my peaceful haven when my soul needs quiet.

I can close my eyes and feel it now:

The warmth. The ease. The joy. The freedom.

This is what my dream retirement looks like.

And one day, God willing, it will be mine.
